Data & Supply Chain Analyst
Contract Type : Contract / Consultant

Location : Dorval – Greater Montreal Area (Hybrid)

Mandate Context
Within a structured industrial environment with strong operational constraints, the consultant will support Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Operations teams by delivering data-driven insights, executive-level reporting, and process optimization.
This role combines strong data & analytics capabilities with a solid understanding of supply chain and procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze large datasets from ERP, supply chain, and operational systems
- Develop actionable insights to support purchasing decisions and supplier performance evaluation
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver reporting to executive stakeholders
Data Visualization & Tools
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Translate business requirements into effective data models and visualizations
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization
Data Preparation & Transformation
- Use Databricks and SQL to transform, structure, and prepare data
- Support the development of scalable data pipelines
Advanced Analytics & Automation
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve analysis and reporting efficiency
- Contribute to automation and predictive analytics initiatives
- Analyze spend, supplier performance, and purchasing trends
- Support sourcing strategies and cost optimization initiatives
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations stakeholders
- Clearly communicate insights, methodologies, and recommendations to business partners
Candidate Profile
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in data analysis and data visualization
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Databricks
- Experience working with an ERP system (e.g., SAP)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to clearly explain analytical processes and results
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
Assets
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience building AI agents
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace environments
Education & Experience

Contexte du mandat
Dans un environnement industriel structuré et à forte intensité opérationnelle, le consultant interviendra au sein des équipes Supply Chain / Achats / Opérations afin de soutenir la prise de décision par l’analyse de données, le reporting exécutif et l’optimisation des processus logistiques et d’approvisionnement.
Le rôle combine une forte composante data & analytics avec une compréhension concrète des enjeux supply chain.
Responsabilités principales
Analyse de données & reporting
- Collecter, nettoyer et analyser de grands volumes de données provenant de systèmes ERP, supply chain et opérationnels
- Développer des insights actionnables pour soutenir les décisions d’achats et l’évaluation de la performance fournisseurs
- Suivre les KPI clés et produire du reporting à destination de parties prenantes de niveau exécutif
Visualisation & outils data
- Concevoir, développer et maintenir des tableaux de bord interactifs sous Power BI
- Traduire les besoins d’affaires en modèles de données et visualisations efficaces
- Assurer la qualité, la fiabilité et la performance des rapports et des données
Traitement et préparation des données
- Utiliser Databricks et SQL pour transformer, structurer et préparer les données
- Soutenir le développement de pipelines de données évolutifs
Analytique avancée & automatisation
- Exploiter des outils d’intelligence artificielle (ex. Copilot) afin d’améliorer l’efficacité des analyses et du reporting
- Contribuer à des initiatives d’automatisation et d’analytique prédictive
- Analyser les dépenses, la performance fournisseurs et les tendances d’achats
- Appuyer les stratégies de sourcing et les initiatives d’optimisation des coûts
Collaboration & communication
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Supply Chain, Finance et Opérations
- Communiquer clairement les analyses, processus et recommandations aux partenaires d’affaires

Exigences clés
- Solide expérience en analyse de données et visualisation
- Maîtrise avancée de Power BI
- Bonne connaissance de SQL et Databricks
- Expérience avec un ERP (ex. SAP)
- Expertise avancée en Excel
- Capacité à expliquer clairement des processus et résultats analytiques
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à gérer plusieurs priorités
