Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ahmedabad. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished videos for ads, social media, corporate content, promotional campaigns, and client branding. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding captions, motion graphics, sound effects, transitions, color correction, audio adjustments, and exporting videos in the correct formats for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and paid ad campaigns.
The role will collaborate closely with creative directors, marketers, designers, content writers, and business development teams to turn ideas and briefs into engaging visual stories. The Video Editor will also manage media assets, maintain organized project files, follow brand guidelines, and deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and short-form content.
- Knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, captions, transitions, and export settings for different platforms.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and work with marketing, design, and business development teams.
- Familiarity with social media formats such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn videos, and ad creatives.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
- Diploma, degree, or certification in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work.
- Interest in AI-powered creative tools and willingness to learn new workflows.
