Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner / server

to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining room.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries or requests.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
• Familiarity with cashiering systems and POS technology is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
