Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed Salon Hair Stylist to join our vibrant beauty team! Duties

• Perform a wide range of hair services such as cuts, color treatments, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading with precision and artistry.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client profiles, and process transactions efficiently.
• Apply color theory principles to achieve customized color results that enhance each client’s natural beauty.
• Use professional tools including straight razors and other barbering techniques to deliver refined grooming services.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, communicating clearly, and offering expert advice on hair care and retail products.
• Upsell retail items such as hair care products, makeup, nail care essentials, and eyelash extensions to enhance client satisfaction and store sales.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments through salon management systems like MINDBODY.
• Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and retail sales strategies to foster team growth.
• Assist with store management tasks when needed, including inventory checks and retail math calculations to optimize stock levels.

Experience

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus.
• Proven experience in professional hair styling with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across cuts, colors, and special treatments.
• Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Knowledge of advanced techniques including hair extensions, makeup application, and straight razor grooming preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide tailored recommendations.
• Prior experience in retail sales within a salon setting is advantageous for upselling products effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $45.00 per hour
