Team mission

Come join our Comparison team as our Senior Product Designer! The Comparison team is a new strategic area of the business focused on our category verticals of our activities, like adventure tours or shows and events. This team will explore deepening our understanding of specific categories, distinct UX formats they need, and how we can best merchandise key information to our travelers. This will include how travelers make key decisions through social proof, developing proprietary data models, and all of the options available for the activities.

Your mission

  • Design and iterate with your team on high quality customer experiences.
  • Craft high-quality experiences and interfaces across web and apps.
  • You will leverage qualitative and quantitative insights in making day-to-day design and product decisions.
  • Work with UX researchers to plan strategic research initiatives and test your own designs.
  • Work closely with Content Design to structure and iterate upon your designs.
  • Develop a strong, user-centered point of view on your product area and collaboratively advocate for user needs and your vision.
  • You will mentor other designers and give constructive feedback to strengthen your peers’ decision-making skills and quality of work.
  • Collaborate with your stakeholders to facilitate alignment, create shared understanding, and communicate your design rationale.

Your toolkit

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience with end-to-end product design in a startup, SMB, large company with a digital offering.
  • Experience designing for B2C platforms, customer-facing platforms, e-commerce and mobile products are a huge advantage.
  • A problem-solving mindset, focusing on outcomes and not output, and applying user feedback or a/b testing tools to validate hypotheses.
  • Proven track-record in leading large design projects that demonstrate a user-centered approach and high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Examples that demonstrate an understanding of and ability to contribute to visual design, including branding, composition, and UI components.
  • Able to bring ideas to life through prototyping through simple click-thru mock-ups. 
  • Demonstrable ability to present design concepts and final designs, articulate the decision rationale behind them, and build a product vision.
  • Be proactive and comfortable with working autonomously.
  • Experience working closely within cross-disciplinary product teams, including Product Managers and Engineers. A history of strong communication and collaboration with other functional roles is essential.
  • An understanding of how UX impacts business objectives and KPIs.
