About the Role

GetMeRank is looking for a driven and results-oriented SEO team lead to own our organic growth strategy and lead a high-performing SEO team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and performance analytics, along with the leadership skills required to mentor and manage a team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business and client objectives.
• Manage and optimize SEO campaigns for large-scale, multilingual, and multi-domain websites.
• Improve on-page and off-page SEO performance to increase organic traffic, rankings, and domain authority.
• Develop and implement effective link-building strategies.

Technical SEO & Content

• Conduct technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations.
• Identify content gaps and collaborate with content teams to develop SEO-focused content strategies.
• Utilize AI-powered SEO tools for content optimization, keyword research, entity-based SEO, and SGE-focused strategies.
• Stay updated on AI-first search trends, including conversational search, zero-click searches, and AI overviews.

Reporting & Collaboration

• Monitor, analyze, and report SEO performance using industry-standard tools and KPIs.
• Collaborate with content, development, design, marketing, and client servicing teams.
• Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates and digital marketing best practices.
• Manage project timelines, client expectations, and deliverables.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and train SEO executives and specialists.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and performance excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, IT, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• 2–3 years of team handling or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, local SEO, and international SEO.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
• Proven track record of improving organic traffic and search rankings.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven SEO tools such as Surfer SEO, Clearscope, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of AI Overviews, Search Generative Experience (SGE), and conversational search.
• Knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and entity optimization.
• Experience managing SEO for e-commerce, enterprise, or large-scale websites.
• Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization.
• Agency experience handling multiple client accounts.
