Job Description
Get Active ‘N Play is a not for profit focused on every kid getting a chance to play and grow up active for life. Thanks to the Canada Summer jobs grant, we’re hiring youth (ages 19-30) for the summer (9 weeks full time or longer part time 270hrs total) to promote physical activity and literacy at home, in school or through online social platforms.
Key Activities:
- Film, act and edit “How to” videos for various sports (Soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, etc)
- Create cool edits of learn 2 play events teaching skills through fun games and exercises from user and our content.
- Create games, challenges, races and other cool ideas to film.
- Help plan, create and post physical activity and literacy content on our social media (IG/TikTok/FB/Twitter/Pinterest).
We offer:

We are looking for the following qualifications:
- You play the previously mentioned sports and have the confidence to teach what you know.
- Positive attitude, caring and energetic personality.
- Passion for sport and getting active.
- Has experience with video editing software or post a lot on social media (IG/Tiktok is a +) .
- You have a computer with stable wifi
