Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Mortgage Broker to support clients with financing solutions for income-producing and commercial properties. The role focuses on sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial mortgage deals while building strong relationships with lenders, investors, and business clients.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Deal Management
- Source and develop new commercial mortgage opportunities
- Work with clients financing:
- Multi-unit residential properties
- Retail/office spaces
- Industrial buildings
- Mixed-use developments
- Construction financing
- Analyze client financials, rent rolls, and property details
- Structure deals and recommend suitable lending options
Lender Relations
- Present deals to banks, credit unions, and private lenders
- Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions
- Maintain strong relationships with commercial lenders
- Stay updated on lender programs and guidelines
Application & Processing
- Collect and review required documents:
- Financial statements
- Appraisals
- Business plans
- Leases and rent rolls
- Prepare submission packages
- Work closely with underwriters and lenders until funding
Business Development
- Build referral networks with:
- Realtors
- Accountants
- Lawyers
- Developers
- Investors
- Attend networking events and industry functions
- Maintain a strong pipeline of commercial deals
Qualifications
Required
- Mortgage Agent/Broker license (province-specific)
- Experience in mortgage or commercial lending
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze financial documents
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
