As a Legal Contracts Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in the contract management process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating high complexity contracts independently or in collaboration with stakeholders to secure favorable positions for the client.
- Working with internal and external clients to structure, prepare, negotiate, and finalize commercial proposals.
- Reviewing and approving complex contractual documents to ensure protection of the client's contractual position, satisfaction of customer specifications, adherence to company policies, and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Participating in negotiations with suppliers and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and contract management associates for issue escalations.
- Managing work allocation and deliverables of the team, coordinating daily activities, setting priorities, and tracking and monitoring deliverables.
- Training and mentoring contract management personnel, implementing training programs, and identifying areas for improvement in standard templates and checklists.
- Contributing to the growth of contract management excellence through innovation and continuous improvement in processes and techniques.

- A good understanding of commercial law with strong subject matter expertise to provide sound legal advice on corporate and contractual issues.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to opine on compliance and legal issues effectively.
- The ability to mentor team members and be a trusted member of the legal and compliance team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills and awareness to anticipate client needs, build strong relationships, and effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

- Education: LLB (PF)
- Experience: 6-9 years in corporate law and procurement background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and contract management tools such as Ariba.
