Hotel General Manager

We are seeking to hire General Manager for an opening hotel in Brooklyn, NY. Opening experience is not required but prefereed. We are a growing hotel management company with a diverse portfolio of 30 hotels. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Opening Hotel
• Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure.
• Oversees hotel operations under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.
• Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics.
• Ensures compliance with brand standards.
• Maintaining statistical and financial records.
• Setting and achieving sales and profit targets.
• Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff.
• Planning work schedules for individuals and teams.
• Meeting and greeting customers.
• Dealing with customer complaints and comments.
• Addressing problems and troubleshooting.
• Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly.
• Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
• Dealing with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring security is effective.
• Carrying out inspections of property and services.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

QUALIFICATION

§ Minimum of (2) years’ experience as Hotel General Manager.

§ Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business preferred.

§ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

§ Demonstrates ability to lead a team.

§ Excellent attention to detail.

§ Financial savvy

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office

§ Must maintain composure under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
