  • The purpose of this job is to support and work on remediation of vulnerabilities and support Windows Systems, Virtualization, Implementing and troubleshooting of critical IT systems._
  • This position will also handle escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis of any problems that may arise out of Incident Report (IR) and/or proactive needs for business._
  • Responsibilities_
  • _Vulnerability
  • _Expert in Configuring and administering windows server 2008/2012/2016._
  • _Good understanding of Exchange 2016 and Outlook related issues._
  • _Maintain servers both physical and VM environment with maximum uptime._
  • _Mastered in trouble shooting windows OS issues, handling escalated L3 issues in windows environment._
  • _Firm understanding of Windows security including file system permissions, file sharing, event logging, performance monitoring and disk
  • _Good understanding of Active Directory and Network Infrastructure, Forest and Domain Infrastructure._
  • _Responsible for third-level support for all server related issues. Implemented security policy and virus protection._
  • _Participate in complete system builds, upgrades, migrations and patch management._
  • _Preparation and maintenance of documentation of technologies, standards and procedures._
  • _Administration of server consolidation program through use of VMware ESX server and VMware Virtual Center, creating VMs, using/building VM templates and customization files, and scheduling tasks._
  • _Assist in P2V and V2V conversion of Windows server editions using enterprise VMware converter and also installed the VMware tools on that machines._
  • _Hardening and Monitoring of VM's ESX server’s CPU, Memory, Disk, Network Utilization for Security Compliance._
  • _Server hardware troubleshooting by using through ILO and HP SIM._
  • _Hardware firmware upgrade for physical servers like HP, Dell and IBM._
  • _Performance optimization, regular health checks on servers and Systematic Troubleshooting of problems._
  • _Involved in Customizing VM's Memory, hard disk, NIC and Analyzing log files, Resources utilizing monitoring._
  • _Install racked and stacked HP ProLiant Blade Servers, Dell Power Edge Servers in multiple data centers. Familiar with HP ILO, Dell Tools._
  • _Create new VMware virtual machines to meet the specifications provided by the Client._
  • _Involve in On Call rotation for supporting production strictly maintaining SLA's._
  • _Perform necessary analysis to provide all required evidences to support the project requirements._
  • _Handle day-to-day incidents and requests arising in the environment with respect to Windows within SLA._
  • _Provide escalation support for Windows team._
  • _Manage and complete assigned projects_
  • _Must be willing to handle varying shifts._

  • Minimum Qualifications_
  • _Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream._
  • Or_
  • _A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related
  • Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills_
  • _Ability to effectively interact with upper management for presentation of new functionality and solving problems_
  • _Strong written and verbal communication skills._
  • _Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment._
  • _Willingness to work on-call in the emergency or priority issues._
  • _Ability to take independent initiative when needed_
  • _Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred._
  • _Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), integration across Incident, Problem & Change (IPC) Management._
  • _Knowledge about other products like BMC Control-M(CM), Cross File Transfer (CFT), Connect Direct and NetBackup is preferred._
  • _Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting._
  • _Technical and system expertise in relevant IT workstreams._
  • _Strong analytical and problem-solving skills._
  • _Specialized knowledge in specific areas allowing them to tackle intricate problems._
  • _Collaboration with L1 Support to provide guidance and share insights for ongoing issue resolution._
  • _Strong problem-resolving abilities, communication skills (written and verbal), time administration and management, and the team partnership and
  • _Escalation to L3 Support in timely manner when challenges require an even higher level of expertise and/or exper
