Job Description

Be a key contributor to General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada as a Co-op Software Engineer. Focus on enhancing the functionality of critical software solutions for the Canadian Army in a dynamic Agile setup. As part of the Applications team in the Land C5ISR Program, you will develop and integrate software tailored for Battle Management and Planning applications.

This position offers valuable hands-on experience using the latest technologies while working in Agile frameworks. Your work will directly support national defense initiatives, ensuring thorough testing and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities:

Develop software to meet the set acceptance criteria
Conduct coding tests and debugging methods
Manage issues and verify software changes
Take part in Agile ceremonies and code reviews
Stay updated on tech trends relevant to your work Requirements:
Enrolled in a Computer, Software, or Systems Engineering degree
Effective communication skills
Interest in Java and Python technologies
Familiarity with databases and AI models considered
Must be eligible for security clearance in Canada Make a difference in software engineering by supporting the Canadian Army's mission with innovative technologies.
