District Heights Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while adhering to delivery schedules. Safety is the priority.

**$21.25 Hourly Rate**

Lovett Logistix DSP is a Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages. We offer full and part-time opportunities. ***Company Vehicle Provided! No CDL Required!*** ***NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED*** Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at ALL times.
• Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions (rain/snow/any type of inclement weather). Load and unload packages to be delivered. Must be able to load their van in 15 minutes.
• CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers. Must be polite to all customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of van over 200 times a day and walk up and down stairs through your shift
• Adhere to traffic laws/regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving techniques
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical work
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadline
• 21 years of age
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.25 per hour
