Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Food Processing Engineer with strong expertise in dehydration systems and a solid foundation in chemical, mechanical, and food processing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and explaining food processing methods to clients while ensuring efficient and high-quality production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize food processing systems with a focus on dehydration technologies (e.g., spray drying, freeze drying, tray drying, and fluidized bed drying).
  • Provide technical expertise across chemical, mechanical, and processing aspects of food production.
  • Clearly explain processing methods, system workflows, and technical details to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and quality assurance.
  • Analyze production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and process flow diagrams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in food processing, particularly dehydration systems.
  • Strong understanding of heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, and process engineering.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Experience working with industrial food processing equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with multiple drying technologies.
  • Familiarity with automation and process control systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO).
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
