Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements. This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable.
- Responsible for managing and liaising with in‑country statutory auditors to ensure timely submission of all PBC (Prepared‑By‑Client) documentation.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Partner with various teams to develop and execute project plans, including tracking project milestones, identifying key stakeholders, integrating the dependencies and monitoring the timeline.
- Work with the global process leads to define and monitor adherence to the GEHC standard Statutory processes and support gap analysis effort as required. Help to develop projects to close gaps as necessary through partnership.
- Other ad hoc projects assigned by manager.
- Build and leverage strong cross functional relationships both in the Statutory teams, and other supporting function teams, BPO teams, business finance and operational leaders in the business as well as other teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance or other business-related field and minimum of 7 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Experience working in global business environment with a sound understanding of global process and transaction flows
