Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated B.Tech Chemical Engineer to oversee and optimize the production processes in our alcohol manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining product quality, adhering to safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control fermentation, distillation, and blending processes.
• Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, utilities, and manpower.
• Maintain product quality as per company and regulatory standards.
• Supervise plant operations including molasses handling, fermentation tanks, distillation columns, and bottling lines.
• Analyze process parameters and implement improvements for higher efficiency and yield.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
• Handle troubleshooting of process issues and minimize downtime.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor waste management systems such as effluent treatment plant (ETP).

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)
• Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in distillery / chemical / FMCG manufacturing preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of distillation, fermentation, and process engineering
• Understanding of P&ID diagrams and process flow
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with quality control and safety standards
• Good communication and team coordination abilities
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools

Working Conditions:

• Plant-based role involving shift duties
• Exposure to industrial environment, noise, and process equipment

Salary & Benefits:

• As per industry standards
• Additional benefits: PF, ESI, Bonus, Medical, etc.
• Pay Scale: ₹18,000/- to ₹25,000/- per month
