Job Summary of Industrial Engineer:

This role supports pricing, costing, and operational decision making by developing accurate labor estimates for existing and proposed business. The position applies industrial engineering principles, data analysis, and operational insight to ensure labor models reflect process changes, productivity expectations, and financial objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Industrial Engineer:

• Develop labor estimates to support pricing of services using established scoring systems, time studies, and operational data
• Maintain and enhance labor calculation systems to reflect current and proposed process changes
• Serve as a subject matter resource for labor modeling and pricing methodology
• Provide labor cost inputs for pro forma financial models supporting new business proposals
• Collaborate with finance, pricing, marketing, and operations teams to align labor assumptions
• Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process modeling to validate labor standards
• Analyze actual labor performance to support productivity tracking and demand planning
• Document labor calculations, assumptions, and customer requirements to ensure consistency and accuracy

Qualifications and Experience of Industrial Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field required
• One to three years of experience in labor analysis, industrial engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Access
• Ability to interpret operational processes and translate them into labor models
• ERP or SAP experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary:

Annual compensation range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
