Garry’s Mechanical Repairs is a busy, high-end independent workshop in Caboolture. We are seeking a highly skilled, "fast-and-accurate" Automotive Technician to join our team. We specialize in complex mechanical and electronic diagnostics for European and Australian vehicles (VW, Land Rover, Ford, Mazda).

We are an approved sponsor and are looking for a dedicated professional from India ready to relocate and build a long-term career in Regional Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electronic and mechanical diagnostics using ODIS, Autel, and Snap-on tools.
• Execute high-quality repairs and servicing on a wide range of makes (Euro & Domestic).
• Able to replace clutch, engines, timing belt & timing chains.
• Identify and solve complex intermittent faults that other shops miss.
• Maintain a clean and organized bay in a fast-paced environment.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a high-volume dealership or premium independent workshop.
• Diagnostic Skill: Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic systems, timing chains, and DSG/automatic transmissions quickly.
• English: IELTS (Score 6.0+) or equivalent PTE score is mandatory for visa eligibility.
• Skills Assessment: Candidates who have already started or completed their TRA (Trades Recognition Australia) assessment will be given high priority.
• Attitude: A "can-do" approach with a focus on speed and first-time-fix accuracy.
