GAO Research Inc. is looking for a motivated and creative WordPress Developer/Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a remote internship that offers you the chance to work on exciting projects while honing your skills in WordPress development, web design, and SEO best practices. Key Responsibilities:

As a WordPress Developer/Designer Intern, you will:

• Use tools like Elementor, Gutenberg, and WPBakery Page Builder to create fully functional and visually appealing WordPress websites.
• Optimize websites for fast load times and seamless navigation, ensuring a top-notch user experience and smooth performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical WordPress issues efficiently.
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance website content, images, meta tags, and site structure, driving organic traffic and boosting search engine rankings.
• Stay current with the latest web design trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies to continually sharpen your skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• A portfolio that highlights your WordPress projects and demonstrates your development and design expertise.
• Strong understanding of the WordPress CMS platform and experience with popular page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, and WPBakery Page Builder. Familiarity with theme and plugin development is a bonus.
• Solid knowledge of web design principles, responsive design, and SEO best practices to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized websites.
• A keen eye for detail and a talent for creating user-focused, brand-consistent website designs.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote team members and clients, with the ability to clearly explain design concepts and development solutions.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage deadlines while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. Passionate about learning and staying current with web design trends and advancements in technology.
