Role Description
This is a part‑time, remote contract role for a Marketing Manager at a rapidly growing B2C agency with a team of negotiation experts who help tech professionals negotiate their job offers. The part‑time contract Marketing Specialist will be responsible for everything from content creation to communications and marketing strategy. This is a heavily hands‑on role with opportunity to have full ownership of marketing strategies.
Tasks will include social media management, content creation, email marketing, and market research. The role will require close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive lead generation, brand growth, and client engagement. You will report to a former Product and Growth executive at tech companies like Patreon, Noom, and Udacity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in organic creator‑led marketing, nurture and content marketing, SEO, and/or ads
- Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and email marketing
- Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize marketing performance metrics
- Ability to conduct market research and identify consumer trends
- Use AI to actually make impact without being lazy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An eye for great design and content
- An eye for authentic content vs. BS
- Love engaging with communities and audiences
- Are not afraid of learning how to automate and utilize AI and software to do things better
- Can quickly grasp and synthesize complex topics into expert useful content
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms
- Familiarity with organic channels (YouTube, LinkedIn, Substack, Blogs) and interest in growing skills in ads (Meta, YouTube, Google SEM)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working in a B2C agency environment is a plus
