Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance Associate
📍 Locations: Washington DC, Denver, Phoenix| Remote, Hybrid or In-Office Flexibility Available
A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance practice.
About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated clean energy transactions while building deep experience in project development, finance and energy related M&A.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the development, acquisition, financing and disposition of renewable energy projects.
- Support project finance, M&A and other strategic transactions within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and transaction documents.
- Work closely with clients, investors, lenders, developers and other key stakeholders to execute complex transactions.
- Contribute to innovative renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery storage, geothermal and hydrogen developments across the United States.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience advising on project development, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and commercial agreements.
- Attorneys with renewable energy experience and familiarity with key project agreements
- Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
