Job Description
You will be working as a senior QA for the Data & Analytics Tableau team at Fulcrum Digital, an agile and next-generation digital accelerating company that provides digital transformation and technology services across various industries such as banking & financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop test procedures, scenarios, cases, datasets, and SQL scripts for testing software
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain Data QA test plan using both manual and automated methods
- Participate in functional, regression, and performance testing
- Perform comprehensive data analysis
- Identify, document, track bugs thoroughly
- Create detailed test plans and test cases
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore QA members for sprint test preparation and execution
- Adhere to QA and Agile methodologies
- Participate in Sprint planning sessions and scrum meetings
- Work on data comparison and analysis tools
- Evaluate and log defects, follow up until fixed and retest
- Communicate test planning, preparation, and execution effectively as required
**Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Software Testing in Reporting, Data Warehousing, database testing, business intelligence, and data analytics
- Proficiency in Tableau, QA, SSRS, SSIS
- Experience in developing data quality documentation and working with large datasets
- Knowledge of QA Automation tools and relational databases
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and deductive reasoning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Experience in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence would be a plus
