ABOUT THE COMMUNITY

Falcon Beach School is a Nursery to Grade 10 school with approximately 60 students. The newly built school is located in Falcon Beach, Manitoba, which is approximately 120 km east of Winnipeg. The community has many outdoor enthusiasts as it offers access to a wide variety of outdoor activities, including excellent fishing, hiking and one of the best 18-hole golf courses in the province. The school offers a variety of outdoor and athletic programming to their students.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
• A sound knowledge of provincial curricula
• Previous teaching experience
• A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
• Strong classroom management skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
• Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
