Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS and Azure. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge cloud solutions, ensure system reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects. • * Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• * Monitor and optimize cloud system performance, ensuring uptime and efficiency.

• * Implement and manage security measures, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance requirements.
• * Automate deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• * Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.

• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• * Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with expertise in AWS and Azure platforms.
• * Strong understanding of networking concepts, cloud security, and system architecture.
• * Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• * Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• * Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Experience
• * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
• * Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments and managing enterprise-level cloud deployments.
