DevOps Engineer Needed to Configure Observability Stack on Kubernetes

We're looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to install and configure an observability stack for a microservices environment (Python, Go, and ) running in Kubernetes.

Our deployments run locally and on AWS, managed with Terraform, ArgoCD, and Helm.

You'll set up metrics, logging, and tracing, ideally using SigNoz (preferred), or alternatively Grafana + Prometheus + OpenSearch. The goal is a reliable, maintainable observability setup integrated with our CI/CD workflows.

Deliverables:

• Deploy and configure the chosen observability stack
• Connect app services and workloads in Kubernetes
• Enable metrics, logging, and tracing dashboards
• Provide clear documentation for ongoing usage and maintenance

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and ArgoCD
• Proven work with SigNoz, Prometheus/Grafana, or OpenSearch
• Solid understanding of observability best practices for microservices
• Ability to deliver working setups and documentation under minimal supervision

ThirdLaw is building an AI Safety Platform, which includes AI observability and governance. It captures all of the AI LLMs prompts/responses and agents, and allows users to specify and enforce acceptable behavior (e.g. no prompt injection attacks, language must be appropriate).

Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
