Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Azure Cloud Infrastructure Developer to provide infrastructure and DevOps support for a cloud-native enterprise platform built on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

The platform supports real-time operational workflows, distributed services, and enterprise integrations. The contractor will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Work will focus on cloud infrastructure configuration, automation, security, and operational reliability.

The contractor will collaborate with a distributed engineering team to deliver specific infrastructure enhancements and technical deliverables.

Scope of Services

Typical services requested from the contractor may include:

  • Designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Managing cloud resource provisioning and configuration
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Implementing InfrastructureasCode (IaC)
  • Supporting application deployments and environment configuration
  • Implementing cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Supporting security best practices for cloud workloads

Contractors will typically be assigned specific infrastructure tasks or deliverables rather than employee-style responsibilities.

The contractor retains control over the methods, tools, and approach used to complete the work, provided deliverables meet technical requirements.

Required Technical Experience

Applicants should have:

  • 3–5 years experience working with Azure
  • Experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with InfrastructureasCode tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep)
  • Experience with Gitbased workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Preferred Experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with AKS
  • Experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Experience implementing cloud security and identity management
  • Familiarity with microservices environments
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Application Insights
