The Digital Assets Technology team at Franklin Templeton is looking for a full stack developer to support innovative projects of small to large scale with a focus on our security protocols. Our team is focused on delivering technology to represent shares in mutual funds with tokens issued on blockchain platform(s) in a manner which permits live trading/exchange on a potentially worldwide and 24/7 basis. We support a mobile app focused on retail investors, a website focused on institutional investors and an internal admin tool for our customer support team. We have a variety of projects to enhance the current platform as well as projects to expand our reach outside the US.

How will you add value?

• You will contribute to application development and production support for critical business systems.
• You will refactor code to improve extensibility, structure, and performance.
• You will review peer code and designs using strong business domain understanding.
• You will actively participate in design and implementation discussions.
• You will build and maintain critical shared libraries and frameworks.
• You will design unit, integration, and non‑functional testing strategies.
• You will create application designs, data models, and interface specifications.
• You will translate requirements into technical designs for custom and packaged solutions.
• You will define non‑functional requirements and environment usage strategies.
• You will support integration testing and technology roadmap planning.

Experience & Capabilities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and think critically
• Structured problem‑solving using available resources
• Experience supporting financial reconciliation systems
• Interest or exposure to blockchain technology

Technical Skills

• Java, React, and Python development experience
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with external file transmissions and integration standards
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools

Work Shift Timings - 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST
