Motion Designer- Marketing/comms

Role Overview:

As a Motion Designer in the marketing and communications team, you will be responsible for creating creative interactions for app products and their marketing channels. Your attention to detail and understanding of how form influences function will be crucial in weaving motion into interaction design and simplifying complexity. Your passion for animation will drive you to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create enticing motion graphics for various video deliverables such as corporate videos, explainer videos, websites, and marketing demos.
• Prepare storyboards for motion graphic projects to outline the visual flow and interaction.
• Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, and animations for graphic design to enhance the overall appeal.
• Edit raw video footage by adding effects and elements to improve the quality of motion graphics.
• Research and analyze the best design techniques and solutions to create visually appealing motion graphics.
• Stay updated with the latest graphic design techniques to incorporate innovative ideas into motion design projects.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards to maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications Required:

• Proven 3-4 years of work experience as a Motion Designer with a strong background in digital marketing creatives.
• Experience in the app product space is highly preferred.
• Portfolio showcasing expertise in Motion Design.
• Well-organized, responsible, and dedicated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality output within tight deadlines.
• Self-learning ability to quickly adapt to new tools and thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Animate.
• A degree in Motion Design, Visual Design, or Graphic Design is a plus.
• Experience with 3D graphics and animations is considered an advantage.
