Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Leader to join our Fountain Food and Beverages team at our Hamilton facility. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory handling, and shipping, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.

Duties

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities.
• Lead, coordinate, and support warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Plan and assign daily tasks to optimize workflow and meet operational requirements.
• Ensure accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Ensure FIFO practices are followed to minimize product expiry and waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety, GMP, HACCP, and company health and safety and food safety standards.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and support employee development.
• Support documentation, reporting, and communication related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is an asset.
• Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in food, beverage, or manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role is required.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and FIFO practices.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach truck, pallet jacks).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and reporting.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to refrigerated and dry storage conditions.
• Physical work including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• May require flexibility to support different shifts, overtime, or operational needs.
