Job Description
Forum Art Gallery is a vibrant space in Adyar, Chennai, dedicated to promoting contemporary and traditional art. We host exhibitions, workshops, and events to engage art lovers and artists alike. It stands today as one of the country’s distinguished and well-defined center of contemporary art promoting paintings, sculptures, photography, cartoon art and ceramics.
We are looking for a passionate Art Gallery Assistant with strong English communication skills to support daily operations, exhibitions, and promotional activities in our gallery.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining inventory of the art work and artist records.
- Greet and assist visitors, providing information about artworks and artists.
- Organize and coordinate gallery events and exhibitions.
- Maintain and ensure proper display of artworks.
- Create and edit promotional materials and social media content using Photoshop ( if proficient)
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree any field preferably in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Visual Communication or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for art and design
- Women after career break can apply
- Knows basic of Photoshop ( not mandatory)
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
