Job Description
We are looking for a Sous Chef for Fort Pub & Grill who is able to:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Controlling food and labor cost
- Prepping and cooking dishes to ensure the high standard of food quality for customer
- Supervise all kitchen and dishwasher staff
- Assist executive chef in overall management and control of the kitchen
- Ordering food product, maintaining order and rotation of food in storage
- Ensuring maintenance of high level of hygiene in the kitchen as well as monitoring and ensuring Food Safety
- Red Seal an asset
- Experience developing and training cooks
- The candidate must be able to multi-task, team player and work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of gastronomy is necessary
- Ensure all health, safety, and food safe standards are met
- Lead by example, work efficiently, take attention to detail
The successful candidate must be able to work evenings, weekend and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Experience
- Culinary: 3 years (required)
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Sous Chef: 2 years (preferred)
