Position Overview
Forge Hospitality is seeking a professional and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join the team at our Holiday Inn Morgantown team. This role is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, and supporting daily front office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure.
- Process guest checkins and checkouts accurately and efficiently.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions.
- Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Resolve guest issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate guest records and follow cash handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.
- Follow IHG brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hotel front desk experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fastpaced environment.
- Basic computer skills; PMS experience preferred (Opera system a plus).
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Dependable and punctual.
