CNC Equipment Operator/Plate Roll Operator

Foremost has an immediate opening for a CNC Equipment Operator -Plate Roll Operator located at our north facility in Lloydminster, AB. The CNC Equipment Operator - Plate Roll Operator is responsible for forming materials, supporting metal working operations, and contributing to the safe and efficient flow of work within the shop.

Responsibilities

• Form materials by rolling shells of various thicknesses and diameters ranging from 24 in. to 144 in., flanging heads, and performing related plate rolling duties.
• Assist operators within the Metal Working Department as required.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow current standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Report discrepancies, equipment concerns, or other issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Support general shop activities that improve workflow and department efficiency.
• Perform other duties related to the classification, as assigned.
• This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC plasma tables, brakes, and steel plate rolls is considered an asset; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of safe lifting practices.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Safety training is considered an asset; training will be provided as required.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a shop environment and may involve exposure to noise, dust, odours, fumes, and oils. Shift work may be required from time to time.
