Exploration and Logistics Coordinator

to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team.

This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

The

Exploration and Logistics Coordinator

is responsible for sourcing supplies, equipment and consumables for exploration programs and providing logistical, camp and travel support to exploration field teams, ensuring that exploration programs are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for exploration programs, including equipment, transportation, accommodations, and supplies.
  • Schedule travel and manage site accommodations for field teams.
  • Support field operations by ensuring equipment and supplies are available as needed.
  • Maintain site services and exploration equipment, including power, water, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Assist with logistical planning and forecasting for current and upcoming exploration programs.
  • Ensure adequate space, core shack access, and core saw availability to support drilling activities.
  • Coordinate satellite camp setup, transportation, and infrastructure installation as required.
  • Track expenses, process invoicing and accruals, and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Manage work orders, supply orders, and notifications in SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Provide equipment and safety training to exploration staff where applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Exploration Superintendent.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in exploration camp logistics, mining operations, or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Practical hands-on ability to troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues.
  • Experience with invoicing, accruals, and administrative coordination.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Ability to work in remote locations and travel to field sites as required.
  • Valid drivers license.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,500 - $87,500/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
