Job Description
As a 3D Animator at Flecks Labs, you will play a key role in creating high-quality character animations and immersive experiences. Your expertise in character animation and rigging will be instrumental in bringing characters to life with expressive movement and ensuring animations meet performance and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with artists, designers, and developers to meet project requirements and iterate based on feedback and production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality character animations including body mechanics, facial animation, and lip-sync
- Build, modify, and troubleshoot character rigs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements
- Ensure animations meet performance and quality standards
- Iterate based on feedback and production needs
Qualifications Required:
- Strong experience in 3D character animation
- Good knowledge of character rigging for biped and quadruped characters
- Proficiency in tools such as Maya/Blender or similar
- Understanding of animation principles including timing, weight, squash & stretch, etc.
- Portfolio or demo reel showcasing character animation work (mandatory)
Nice to Have
- Experience with game engines such as Unity/Unreal
- Facial rigging or advanced deformation skills
- Motion capture cleanup experience
