Responsibilities

Caregivers follow care plans tailored to individual clients' needs to provide them with non-medical emotional and social support, as well as support for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Some examples include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being
• Preparing and serving meals as well as shopping, errands, and transportation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Supporting medication reminders and monitoring vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assisting with transportation to medical appointments or community activities when required
• ADL support may include non-medical assistance in the areas of bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility support.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a valid CNA license in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others with patience & kindness
• Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
• Employees must have the physical ability, to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality patient-centered care
