Job Summary

Duties

• Perform professional haircuts, trims, Beard, blowouts, and styling for men, women, and children using various techniques tailored to individual preferences.
• Apply hair coloring, highlights, balayage, Perm, Updo and other color treatments based on client requests and color theory principles.
• Offer additional services such as Waxing and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
• Use salon software like Zenoti to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations; sterilize tools including straight razors and scissors after each use.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering professional advice on hairstyles and products, and upselling retail items.
• Mentor junior team members and assist with front desk duties when needed to ensure smooth salon operations.
• Stay current with industry trends in hair styling / cutting, coloring techniques, and product knowledge to deliver innovative services.

Skills

• Expertise in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques for Men, Women and Kids with a strong understanding of color theory.
• Proficiency in using salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Skilled in applying hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care treatments.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices including sterilizing tools like straight razors to ensure client safety.
• Experience with store management tasks such as retail sales, upselling products, retail math calculations, and inventory control.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations.
• Ability to mentor team members while maintaining a positive work environment; experience in front desk operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with salon services like hair threading and advanced styling techniques to meet diverse client needs.
