Legal Counsel

Firm Advice is conducting an exclusive search on behalf of our corporate client, a global provider of compliance and stewardship intelligence. We are searching for a junior Commercial Contracts Attorney whose responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements, SaaS/software licenses, and vendor contracts. The attorney will partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to intake and execute contracts efficiently. This is a great opportunity to expand your areas of responsibility, especially within privacy, data governance, and/or AI-related legal matters.

Hybrid in Montgomery County, MD.

Salary is dependent on experience and ranges from $150,000 to $160,000 per year.

REQUIREMENTS

• J.D. from accredited law school; member in good standing of a U.S. bar.
• Two (2) plus years’ experience drafting and negotiating commercial sales contracts.
• Experience with technology and vendor agreements, a plus.
• Experience with privacy, data governance, and/or AI-related legal matters, a plus. These are potential areas of growth in the position.
• Language abilities, particularly French, German, or Japanese, is a plus.
• Must be a high energy self-starter who is able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise fashion.
• Must be interested in learning new practice areas, especially in technology.
• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment who is comfortable making decisions.
