Sales Development Representative
Downtown Calgary | $100/qualified discovery call + base + equity
Who We AreFinofo is an AI-native tech company based in Calgary that streamlines invoice processing for accountants. We're not legacy software with AI bolted on—we're built AI-first from the ground up.
Finance teams at mid-sized companies are drowning in invoices—manually entering data, chasing approvals, fixing errors, and juggling multiple tools that don't talk to each other.
The problem looks solved, but it's not. Existing invoice automation tech sucks. Companies have "automation" and they're still doing manual work. We use AI to handle invoice-to-payment so companies don't need to keep hiring more staff just to keep up.
Why This Role
Most seed stage AI companies are scrambling for a runway while hunting for product-market fit. Many software companies still sell “seats” with a nice to have product that gets ripped out when budgets fade in down markets, or the ROI is speculative. We provide a clear and objective ROI to the buyer. We sell results-as-a-service - this is how software is bought today.
We are backed by Desjardins and US VCs with real runway, a sizable team, and healthy inbound pipeline. Companies are seeking us out because their current "automation" still has them buried in manual work.

You won't be:

You will be:
- Activating demand that already exists
- Shaping how we sell, not just who we reach

The Role
Book 10 qualified discovery calls per week (completed, not just scheduled) for our Account Executives. You target: CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors at mid-market Canadian companies.
You own:
- Multi-channel outbound (phone, LinkedIn, email)
- Vertical-specific messaging that hits the pain: workload outpacing team bandwidth, paying for multiple tools that still don't solve the problem
- Pipeline quality—$100/discovery only pays when there's mutual fit and the meeting happens
- Testing, tracking, and optimizing what works
Tools: Apollo, ChatGPT, Claude, sales automation platforms.
What We Expect
Metrics:
- 150 outbound touches/day (calls, LinkedIn, email combined)
- Quickly ramp to 10 qualified discovery meetings booked and completed/week
Profile:
Ideal: If you can cold call and have AP experience, you're exactly who we're looking for.
- 2+ years of SDR or outbound sales experience
- Natural cold caller with strong copywriting skills
- Patient and creative - finance executives require finesse, not brute force
- Takes instruction well, obsessive about CRM hygiene
- Strong analytical skills and spotless CRM hygiene. You know your numbers and keep your pipeline clean.
