In this role, you’ll support core tax accounting and compliance processes while partnering cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across the business. You’ll also contribute to process improvements and support strategic initiatives as the company grows.</p> <p>This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.</p> <h4>What you’ll do at Figma:</h4> <ul> <li>Prepare and oversee preparation of quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures</li> <li>Review tax-related disclosures in 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings for accuracy and completeness</li> <li>Establish and monitor internal controls over financial reporting (SOX) related to tax</li> <li>Coordinate with external auditors on tax provision reviews and audit support</li> <li>Support the monthly and quarterly close by preparing tax journal entries and reconciling tax-related accounts</li> <li>Manage and review US federal, state, and local income tax filings prepared by external advisors, ensuring accuracy and timely submission</li> <li>Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage tax audits and respond to notices</li> <li>Contribute to tax-related projects, including planning initiatives, entity restructuring, and M&amp;A activities</li> </ul> <div class="section page-centered"> <h4>We'd love to hear from you if you have:</h4> <ul> <li>6+ years of corporate tax experience in industry and/or public accounting (e.g., Big 4)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of US federal and multistate corporate income tax compliance</li> <li>Proficiency in ASC 740 and/or IFRS tax accounting</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines</li> <li>Ability to communicate tax concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> </ul> <h4>While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:</h4> <ul> <li>Experience working at a high-growth technology or SaaS company</li> <li>Experience operating at the Tax Manager level</li> </ul> <div class="section page-centered"> <div> <div>At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
