Job Description
GET - Production Assistant
In this role you will be responsible for supporting production operations through effective coordination with vendors, planning and purchase teams, ensuring timely material availability, maintaining production-related documentation, and handling OPEX-related records to enable smooth and efficient production activities.
Your job:
- Coordinate with vendors for arranging and following up on material availability and visit vendor locations as required for material collection or coordination activities
- Coordinate with Planning and Purchase teams to support production schedules and material requirements
- Maintain and update production-related documents, records, and files accurately and handle OPEX-related documentation and ensure timely updates and submissions
- Support day-to-day production and administrative activities through effective communication and follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with internal documentation and reporting requirements
Your qualification:
- Graduate in Science or Arts with 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction
- Proficient in computer operations, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
- Good organizational skills with attention to documentation, filing, and record maintenance
