🔬 CALL FOR SCIENTIFIC COLLABORATORS
Fermentry Labs is inviting expressions of interest from researchers, scientists and academic collaborators interested in helping build and lead grant-funded research initiatives in fermentation science, microbial biodiversity and food & beverage innovation.
We are currently developing a research-driven platform focused on:
- Isolation and preservation of indigenous microbial strains
- Fermentation culture vault development
- Strain characterization and fermentation intelligence
- Functional food and beverage applications
- Fermentation process optimization and validation
- Translation of microbial biodiversity into commercially deployable solutions
We are seeking collaborators with expertise in:
- Microbiology
- Fermentation Science
- Food Biotechnology
- Industrial Biotechnology
- Microbial Ecology
- Probiotics & Functional Foods
- Indigenous Fermented Foods
Ideal candidates will have:
✔ PhD in a relevant discipline
✔ Peer-reviewed publications in relevant areas
✔ Experience participating in or leading grant proposals and funded research programs
✔ Interest in industry-academia collaboration and translational research
✔ Ability to contribute to scientific strategy, proposal development and research planning
The initial engagement will focus on:
- Grant opportunity identification
- Proposal development and scientific writing
- Research program design
- Scientific advisory support
- Building institutional and academic collaborations
As projects mature and funding opportunities are secured, collaborators may be considered for formal roles such as Principal Investigator (PI), Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), Chief Investigator or Scientific Lead, depending on project requirements.
