Hello, my name is Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, a recruitment firm specialized in technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles.
I am currently recruiting a Quality & Regulatory Affairs Technician for a well-established food manufacturing company located on the South Shore of Montreal.
Mission
Your Role
Reporting to the Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the company’s quality standards, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
Quality
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Perform production floor inspections to ensure processes and products meet company standards
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformities or production issues
- Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections
- Verify the compliance of incoming raw materials
- Support the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation
Regulatory Affairs
- Verify the regulatory compliance of finished product labels
- Assist in maintaining and updating product regulatory files
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (CFIA, Health Canada, etc.)
- Contribute to regulatory monitoring and implementation of new requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product and process compliance
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and food safety
- Contribute to the optimization of quality procedures and processes
- Perform any other related tasks required by management
Your profile
Profile :
- College diploma (DEC) or university degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs within the food manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge of HACCP, SQF, or BRC standards
- Knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements (CFIA / Health Canada)
- Bilingualism (French / English) - spoken and written
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Conditions :
- Permanent position - Day shift
- Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year depending on experience
