Field Service Technician - North Shore

Introduction

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will be a key technical resource for customers, providing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.

This role offers hands-on work, autonomy, and variety in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing compressors, dryers, and related industrial equipment at customer sites
  • Responding to service calls, including emergency situations
  • Assembling and commissioning compressed air systems
  • Acting as a technical advisor to existing customers
  • Promoting service solutions to potential clients
  • Managing parts returns and related documentation
  • Participating in on-call service rotation outside regular working hours
  • Performing any other related technical duties

Your profile

  • DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (Quebec) or Millwright certification (Canada)
  • Valid ASP Construction card (Quebec)
  • Red Seal certification considered an asset
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant industrial experience
  • Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • General computer literacy
  • Experience with compressed air systems is a strong asset
  • Piping knowledge is a plus
  • Functional bilingualism (French and English)
  • Strong customer service mindset, autonomy, and problem-solving skills
  • Own tool set required
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada
