Senior Clinical Business Analyst – Digital Health (Contract)
24-Month Contract
📍 Remote (Monthly travel to New Brunswick required)
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinical Business Analyst to support a large-scale digital health transformation initiative within a complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environment in Canada.
This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in clinical information systems, business analysis, and healthcare transformation projects, who can operate effectively across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex healthcare initiatives
- Facilitate multi-disciplinary workshops to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity, and drive consensus
- Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
- Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives, including defining metrics and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders across multiple organizations
- Develop and deliver executive-level communications, including status reports, risks, and decision materials
- Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure data integrity and alignment with business needs
- Contribute to process optimization within Clinical Information Systems implementations
Must-Have Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years supporting large-scale or transformative digital health or healthcare implementations
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, and documentation
Key Skills & Experience
- 10+ years leading complex workshops with diverse stakeholders
- 7+ years supporting BI/analytics initiatives (metrics, reporting, data validation)
- 7+ years working with Clinical Information Systems in Canada
- Strong experience in stakeholder communication, including executive-level reporting
- 5+ years of experience in testing strategy and execution, including data validation and quality assurance
Additional Details
- This is a remote role, however candidates must be able to travel to New Brunswick at least once per month
- Experience working in provincial or multi-organization healthcare environments is highly preferred
