Farm Equipment Operator / Livestock Hand

This is a hands-on position offering a variety of daily responsibilities including livestock care, equipment operation, crop production, maintenance, and general farm work. What You'll Do

• Care for livestock by feeding, watering, grooming, monitoring health, administering vaccinations, and assisting with routine herd health procedures
• Safely load, haul, and unload cattle using livestock trailers
• Operate tractors, forklifts, skid steers, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently
• Operate a truck with a hay bed to feed livestock and transport hay
• Cut, bale, move, stack, and feed hay as part of daily and seasonal operations
• Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, fencing, trailers, and farm infrastructure
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Assist with greenhouse operations, including planting, watering, and maintaining healthy crops
• Load, unload, and move feed, supplies, fencing materials, and equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Assist with seasonal projects and supervise temporary or seasonal workers when needed
• Follow all farm safety procedures and animal welfare standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous farm, ranch, cattle, or agricultural experience required
• Experience caring for livestock, including vaccinating, processing, and safely handling cattle
• Experience pulling livestock trailers and hauling cattle safely
• Experience operating tractors, hay equipment, forklifts, skid steers, and trucks equipped with hay beds
• Experience cutting, baling, stacking, hauling, and feeding hay
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform equipment maintenance and repairs
• Welding experience is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, or crop production is preferred
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
