Senior System Administrator

We’re hiring a Sr. System Administrator for a hybrid role (4 days onsite) based in Pointe-Claire, Montreal. This position offers a dynamic blend of infrastructure management and hands-on tech support, with a salary range of $100-$125k.

What you will be doing:

• Manage servers, firewalls, switches, and overall network infrastructure.
• Administer Microsoft 365 / Cloud 365 environment.
• Oversee security posture, monitoring, and incident response (transition toward MDR environment).
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
• Ensure system performance, availability, and security compliance.
• Play a key role in POS system replacement (Shopify POS rollout, testing, UAT, deployment support).
• Contribute to ERP automation initiatives.
• Support onboarding of new ticketing system.
• Oversee EDI integrations.

What we are looking for:

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 / Cloud environments.
• Experience managing servers, firewalls, switches, and network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of IT security and incident response.
• Experience supporting Level 2/3 environments.
• Retail industry experience strongly preferred (especially retail POS systems).
• Experience working on ERP, EDI, or automation initiatives considered an asset.
• Advanced security expertise (threat detection, MDR transition) is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• 7+ years' experience as System Administrator
• Fluent English required; French functional
