Position Overview:

ePS is hiring for an Indirect Tax Accountant, who will be responsible for maintaining the indirect tax compliance process, including account reconciliations, journal entries and other tax related tasks. This position is based in India and will work in a weekly hybrid environment with some in office and remote capabilities.

Position Description:

• Gathers all documents required to prepare all indirect tax filings (VAT).
• Works closely with outside consultants to complete indirect tax returns.
• Ensure all indirect tax returns are completed accurately, and all filing deadlines are strictly adhered to
• Coordinate with A/P to ensure any indirect tax payments are issued timely and filed appropriately with the return
• Prepares monthly reconciliations of all indirect tax accounts
• Prepares tax account journal entries.
• Tracks tax vendor invoices and ensure they are paid timely.
• Other ad hoc tax related activities as needed.

Position Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred
• 3-5 years of related experience in Accounting/ Finance with 2+ years in the transaction tax area
• 3 - 5 years: Experience with indirect tax processing, primarily in the EU and UK
• Proficient in Microsoft product suite, advance Excel preferred, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools (NetSuite, UKG, etc.)
• This position is for a 6-month contract.
