Join our dynamic team as an Insurance/Financial Services Agent and Customer Service Representative, is the first step of our Broker in Training program, where you'll play a vital role in connecting clients with the right insurance solutions while delivering exceptional services like insurance and retirement planning for our clients.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in our training program and mentorship for educating the clients and community on money and finance as well as selling insurance policies, providing excellent customer service, and building long-term client relationships. You will analyze clients' needs and offer tailored financial solutions that meet their requirements. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in communication and possess a strong professional acumen.

Summary of Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and customer service.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs thru financial literacy education and recommend appropriate coverage options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Marketing: Actively attract new clients through our proprietary training, networking, referrals, and outreach (note: we do not buy leads and we do not cold call). Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new business.
• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide recommendations on coverage options.
• Policy Management: Prepare and present insurance proposals, explain policy features, and assist clients with policy selection.
• Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients, including assistance with claims, policy changes, and renewals.
• Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy documentation.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulations to enhance your knowledge and effectiveness. A valid insurance license is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development in the insurance field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• No prior experience in finance or insurance is required, just be open to mentorship and learning something new.
• Valid insurance license (or willingness to obtain one). Our team provides the education and resources to attain your license. This can normally be done in 1 to 2 weeks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
