Job Overview

We are seeking a Chemist with experience in STP, ETP, RO, MBR, and SBR systems. The candidate will be responsible for laboratory testing, process monitoring, chemical dosing, documentation, and ensuring efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily testing of water and wastewater parameters including pH, TSS, TDS, MLVSS, COD, and BOD.
• Prepare reagents and standard solutions as per SOPs.
• Supervise and monitor ETP/STP operations to ensure effective treatment performance.
• Assist client teams in plant-related activities and process optimization.
• Monitor and perform chemical dosing to maintain required process parameters.
• Track sludge generation and coordinate sludge removal activities.
• Prepare and maintain statutory records including Form 3 and Form 5.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and monitor chemical stock and expiry dates.
• Maintain laboratory logbooks and review operational records maintained by plant operators.
• Train operators on sampling, testing procedures, plant operations, and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental norms, safety standards, and internal procedures.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in STP/ETP operations and laboratory testing.
• Exposure to RO, MBR, SBR, and biological treatment processes.
• Knowledge of wastewater analysis techniques and process control.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance documentation.
• Good record-keeping, reporting, and communication skills.
